Hello everyone!

From the bitter winters of Michigan, residents are ready to soak up the sun. As Memorial Day approaches, indulging in the best food and drinks is a must this Memorial Day weekend!

Behind The Posh stopped in at Simmer Rooftop Bar this past Sunday for their pre-opening session to showcase some of their menu for the upcoming summer season.

Simmer Rooftop Bar is located downtown Flint,MI. It is the official rooftop bar for Hilton Garden Inn hotel, at the corner of Kearsley and Saginaw Street.

Simmer sits on the 6th floor of the hotel for all to enjoy.

As I arrived pre-opening, I was informed food was not available 😞. I was able to try their delicious signature drinks for the upcoming summer.

I tried their Watermelon weather-ball (non alcoholic), which references the Flint weather ball, a popular weather projecting landmark also found downtown Flint. It was super refreshing!

I also tried their Finnish long drink seltzer in traditional blue and it hit quite a punch.

I will definitely be back for opening season to try the appetizers and dishes and will update you guys with the goodies!

Simmer Rooftop Bar officially opens today, May 26th, and is partnering with Beats and Beers for a cocktail event if you'd like to also try their signature drinks. Their hours of operation:

Wed-Thursday 4pm-10pm

Fri & Sat 4pm-11pm

Sunday 5pm-9pm
